| A Rustic Summer Wedding at Willow Creek Barn Events |
If you saw last weeks blog, you’ll already know that the weekend Jenny and Cole got married was a double-header. While my amazing team was capturing Monica and Tony’s wedding, Krissy and I were just outside of London at Willow Creek Barn Events!
The day started at Jenny’s parent’s country house, and nothing starts things off better than arriving to champagne being popped :)
Jenny looked so elegant in the simplest and most understated way that perfectly suited her, and the bridal party’s coral dresses were the best pop of colour for a summer wedding. The girls were all so much fun and so easy to photograph, we breezed through their ‘getting ready’ photos in no time at all! And it really set the tone for the day, because it was the same thing when we arrived to do more ‘getting ready’ photos with the guys.
It was my first time at Willow Creek, and when we arrived for the ceremony it was everything I hoped it would be! Plus, there was a really nice breeze coming in off of the surrounding fields and I’m convinced it’s the only reason we all survived the heat (47 degrees with the humidex!). Jenny couldn’t contain her smile as she walked down the aisle with her dad, and it lasted right through until she and Cole walked back up the aisle as husband and wife!
There was finally a break in the heat during dinner, when a crazy storm blew in. The skies turned a dark grey and the clouds almost looked like a pot of boiling water in the way they were rolling through the sky, but the downpour of rain was over just as quick as it started! It cooled things off and left everyone with an absolutely stunning sunset to end the day <3
