A Spring Proposal! | Youssef & Parya

Proposals

A friend of mine told me that her co-worker was planning on proposing to his girlfriend, and I told her to send him my way. I had been dying to do more proposal photos and with spring right around the corner, it couldn’t have been more perfect timing.

Youssef and I planned a couples’ portrait session on the Western University campus under some beautiful magnolia trees, with a pre-planned pose as the cue that it was time!

I honestly cannot remember the last time I was so nervous to take photos. My hands were shaking as I got out of my car! The pressure to not spoil the surprise was real, you guys. But once Youssef and Parya arrived, all of my nerves went away and everything went as perfectly as we had wanted :)

My favourite part, looking back at their photos? Seeing the changes in their smiles after Parya said “Yes!” <3
