I recently had the absolute pleasure of photographing Victoria’s maternity session at the beautiful SoHo Haus in London. My team photographed their engagement photos and wedding day a few years ago, and now I have the honour of capturing yet another major life milestone for them. A Perfect Setting at SoHo Haus
From the moment I stepped into SoHo Haus, I knew we were in for something special. There was a snowstorm outside, but the studio was warm and filled with gorgeous window light. It created the coziest vibe for a maternity session! The space has been perfectly designed with beautiful furniture, too. It was right out of my studio *dreams*.
One of the standout features of SoHo Haus was the stunning floral wall. This backdrop was nothing short of breathtaking and helped me channel Beyonce-maternity energy with my posing.
Capturing Two Sides of Beauty
Victoria had a clear vision for her maternity photos—she wanted to capture both a bit of elegance with her dress and a bit of natural beauty with her nude bra and panty set. So, we started the session with her dressed in a flowing purple gown that accentuated her baby bump perfectly. She and Eric snuggled together on the couch so effortlessly, you’d think Victoria wore gowns like this every day!
Next, we transitioned to a more intimate set of photos. Victoria changed into a nude bra and panty set, embracing the natural beauty of her pregnant form surrounded by flowers. These photos were incredibly special, highlighting the strength and vulnerability that come with motherhood. They were also some of my favourites from the session!
A Session Filled with Love and Connection
Throughout the session, it was clear how much love and excitement Victoria and Eric shared about not just their pregnancy, but also buying a new house. Such an exciting time in their lives! Their connection was palpable, and it made capturing their moments together an absolute joy. Whether they were laughing together or sharing a quiet, tender moment, their love shone through in every frame.
