Always love when Tammy and Phil come out for family photos London Ontario, and this time they brought little A along with them – who has grown SO MUCH since we last saw her but has somehow gotten a million times cuter.

Wonderland Gardens (our favourite section of Springbank Park!) was the perfect location for this summer family photo session.

Here are some of our favourite moments! And Tammy shares what ‘new mom life’ is like along the way :)

What is your favourite thing about your child at their current age? What makes them unique?

People say that kids are like sponges, they soak up everything and learn so quickly, but you don’t get to see this until you watch your own child soaking it all in. It’s really quite incredible and amazing! I’m always so in awe of how much little A learns every single day.

What is your child’s favourite activity?

A loves the swing! We swing at the park when it’s hot, when it’s cold, in a blizzard. She could swing all day long, every day.

What do you love to do together as a family?

With Covid still a very real issue we stay around the house a lot, but we try and make the best of it by walking to the park every day, watching the dogs run around and looking for all of the urban wildlife we can.

How do you prioritize family time in a busy world?

While we both work from home, pretty much all the time is family time. We try and integrate A into everything that we are doing.

With an unlimited budget, where would your dream family vacation be?

We’ve been lucky enough to have travelled to many places like Scandinavia, Australia and Europe, but haven’t reached Asia yet. I’d love to travel around the islands from Indonesia, all the way down to the South Pacific.

What’s the funniest or most amazing thing your child has done recently?

A amazes me every single day with what she remembers and what she puts together in her own little head. We recently asked her what she found when she stuck her finger in her nose and her response was “gold”. We’ve been looking in the wrong place this whole time!

What TV show/movie can your child just not get enough of right now?

Moana (thankfully it has the best songs!), and most recently Bee Movie.

What has your child taught you about life?

I’m looking through it through a whole new lens now, it’s amazing.

What advice would you give to your past selves when you were brand new parents?

Babies are super strange and make weird noises and movements; that weird inhaling noise you think is her struggling to breathe, is just her pooping… :/
