When I was getting ready for Melissa and Riley’s engagement session, I realized that they were my very first clients at Life is Beautiful Photography! Back when I was just starting out as a wedding and family photographer in London, Ontario.

It’s only been a few short years, but it seems like so much longer than that (in the best way!). I first met Melissa and Riley when they brought their then one-month-old son in for some photos, and since then I have had the chance to do family photos, newborn photos of their second son, and now their engagement photos. It’s such an honour being able to share in so many incredible milestones with my clients!

The Flats in St. Mary’s was such a fun spot for their engagement session. I just wish that I didn’t have to do it all with my air cast on… They are definitely not built to go splashing around in the water, no matter how badly I wanted to! So Melissa and Riley did the splashing around for me, and the outcome was perfect :)
