I don’t capture many maternity sessions these days, but when Tammy told me she and Phil were expecting and were wanting some maternity photos on the beach, I couldn’t have been more excited!
It had been way too long since I had seen Tammy. A few years ago she had designed my (perfect and so beautiful!) wedding invitations and we collaborated on a few other projects together, but aside from a quick visit with each other at a vow renewal last year, we hadn’t crossed paths since. What better reason to reunite than for such an exciting next chapter for her and Phil?!
With a little schedule-shuffling thanks to COVID beach closures, everything finally re-opened and we had a more perfect summer glow than I ever could have asked for. These are easily some of my favourite maternity photos EVER! Tammy and Phil were so sweet as they walked hand-in-hand together along the beach, and snuggled up at the shore with the glow of the sun peeking over the trees behind them.
I’m posting this blog a little late – Baby Amber is already here! – and her lifestyle session is going to be hitting the blog soon! But until then, here are all of my favourites from when her mom and dad were still a family of two :)
