Melanie and Javier picked one of the most unique locations I have ever been to for their engagement session!
I met them in Scarborough at the Guild Inn Estate and was instantly blown away by the surroundings. There were gorgeous gardens surrounding the inn, but a little bit further of a walk into the park and there were stone ruins at every turn. Old archways, a stunning Greek stage, and the foundations of old buildings historic to the city of Toronto. You guys – it was amazing! Add in Melanie and Javier – with the most wonderful personalities and dressed to the 10’s – I knew from the second we started their photos that this session was going to be perfect :)
When we finished up at the Guild Inn Estate (which is now officially on my “wedding venue bucket list”!), we headed over to the Scarborough Bluffs to catch the tail end of sunset. I had been dreaming of shooting at the Bluffs for years! It was just as gorgeous as I wanted it to be.
Some of my favourite moments were from the very end of their session – Javier carrying Melanie through the water, and the two walking hand-in-hand along the beach at sunset… Just engagement session magic!
