I’m at this weird point in my life where, every time I know friends of mine are taking a trip somewhere, I’m convinced they’re about to get engaged. So when my phone dings in the middle of the night during one of those trips, I drop everything I’m doing, because there’s a special kind of excitement that’s reserved for late night engagement announcements!
Jake proposed to Kassandra in front of a Christmas tree in downtown Toronto on a weekend getaway, and somehow patiently kept the exciting news to themselves (and some close friends and family) until we could get together to do some photos to share it with the world! We walked around Victoria Park to take advantage of the Christmas lights and outdoor skating rink and keep with the Christmas theme of their engagement. It was freezing and windy but you’d never know it by looking at the photos of these two snuggled up together on a park bench ;) Kassandra’s sister and best friend were also on hand to help end the session with a hilarious photo bomb!
I always have the best time with these two, in front of and off camera. We just wrapped up their gorgeous engagement session last week (check out the sneak peek on my Facebook page!) and I’m counting down the days until their wedding day finally arrives next June. When your bride is also a wedding planner, you just know that everything about the day is going to be spectacular!
