| A Downtown Fall Engagement Session |
One of the perks of working with your friends for their wedding is that you already know their personalities SO well already, but even still, there’s always so much you can learn about people when they’re in front of your camera… The little things that you don’t get to see every day!
I suggested Downtown London as a location for my good friends, Ashley and Nolan’s, engagement session, because I knew it was going to give us a really great variety – a bit of a classic feel to start, with some older architecture, cobblestone sidewalks and a walk through Victoria Park, and then mixing things up by heading into the business district with some run down concrete, glass walls and modern city vibes. It could NOT have been more perfect for them!
They started their session off in dressy but comfortable outfits, which is ideal when we’re going to be doing a lot of walking. And talk about perfectly coordinated colours!
While we walked around Victoria Park, I snapped photos along the way, and I just loved seeing the sparkle in Ashley’s eyes every time she looked up at Nolan; the way they effortlessly fell into each other; the way Nolan wrapped his arms around her like he would protect her from literally anything…
Friends, it’s so much more than “just an engagement session”. It’s a chance to take some time to be together. To take some time out of your busy lives, away from work and wedding planning and the chaos of everyday life to just be together. Ok – and with me! But I promise, I make it fun!
I can’t believe their wedding day is almost here. I’m getting emotional just thinking about it! Their engagement photos turned out so perfectly, I’ve been daydreaming about their wedding photos ever since… Sunset at the Highland Country Club, anyone?! ;)
