Last summer, my friend Erin from Erin Woodgate Photography said “I do!” to her husband Cameron at the most gorgeous beach wedding in Nova Scotia just four days before my own wedding! Once all of the chaos died down and she settled back into daily life, Erin decided to put together a collaborative styled shoot to do a Trash the Dress session with some amazing vendors in the area.
Myself, along with four other photographers, headed to Port Stanley in time for sunset, and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect night to take these photos! The session was so much fun and we had *so* many laughs. Rocking a wedding dress in the water is not an easy task but Erin was all smiles the whole time – especially when she was floating on her giant ice cream cone :)
And here’s a little behind-the-scenes look, not long before I bravely (or maybe stupidly?!) went into the water with Erin and Cameron! Sometimes you just do what you have to do to get that perfect shot ;) (Thanks so much for the photo Sylina!)

I really love your photos of my daughter’s trash the dress. I haven’t seen some of them, floating on the iceream and some others.
You really did capture the magic! ❤️
Thanks again for capturing these for us! Love them :)
