You’ll have the chance to talk directly to your photographer, and, if you book an engagement session, you’ll have the chance to actually work with them beforehand. It’s a much more relaxed experience in front of the camera when you don’t have a total stranger showing up on your wedding day!

After the wedding, it’s easier to communicate with someone in your area (or close to it) about things like when to expect your photos. In a worst-case scenario where photos are delivered late, you could rack up tons of long-distance charges calling another country looking for answers and information.
